The president does not like the fact that television “does not reveal the essence and tasks of the grandiose transformations” of the country

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov raised the issue of the work of the domestic television broadcasting system, which "besides providing information, performs an important function in the state - it has a definite impact on the population ."

It was noted that "through television and radio broadcasting, relevant principles are promoted, certain political, moral and life views are approved, concepts about spiritual values and the world order are explained."

According to the state news agency TDH , the head of state addressed serious complaints to the head of the State Committee on Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography Nurmukhammet Garlyev , expressing dissatisfaction with the work of this structure.

The modern material and technical base that has been created in recent years has not been fully used. Television and radio do not take proper steps to widely popularize the spiritual values and history of the people, to reveal the essence and tasks of the grandiose transformations that have unfolded in the country as part of the implementation of the adopted strategic programs, although there are quite specific examples for this. However, all this does not find complete coverage, the president said.

In addition, the head of state noted that there are no programs related to the education system and the teaching process in a particular specialty on television and radio channels, which could help students.

Berdymukhamedov instructed to adjust the activities of the State Committee in accordance with modern requirements. On the occasion of the International Day of Neutrality and the New Year's Eve, to prepare on television and radio interesting and informative programs glorifying the Turkmen people.

Note that the president has repeatedly expressed dissatisfaction with the work of domestic television and ordered the creation of programs to highlight the achievements of the country.
