President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov appointed the leaders of the "power" block of the government of the country. The head of state signed the relevant decrees and resolutions at an expanded meeting of the State Security Council of Turkmenistan.
The President of Turkmenistan appointed Lieutenant General Begench Gundogdyev as Minister of Defense, State Counselor of Justice 3rd class Batyr Atdaev as Prosecutor General, Lieutenant Colonel of Police Muhammet Khydyrov as Minister of Internal Affairs, Colonel Gurbanmyrat Annaev as Minister of National Security, Colonel Yazgeldi Nuryev as Head of the State Border Service of Turkmenistan - Commander Border Troops, Senior Adviser of Justice Merettagan Taganov - Minister of Justice, Colonel Maksat Khudaykulyev - Chairman of the State Customs Service and Lieutenant Colonel Nazar Atagaraev - Chairman of the State Migration Service.
In order to improve the activities of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, the head of state signed a resolution abolishing the post of Deputy Prime Minister for security, military and legal issues.
Also, the President of Turkmenistan dismissed Colonel-General Charymyrat Amanov from the post of Secretary of the State Security Council of Turkmenistan in connection with the transfer to another job. By the decree of the head of state, the Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Begench Gundogdyev was appointed Secretary of the State Security Council .
