By the decree of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, in accordance with paragraph 16 of Article 71 of the Constitution of Turkmenistan and Article 16 of the law "On the Prosecutor's Office of Turkmenistan", Junior Counselor of Justice Serdar Myalikgulyev was appointed Prosecutor General of Turkmenistan and dismissed from the post of Prosecutor of the city of Ashgabat.

Also, by a decree of the head of state, Deputy Prosecutor General Begmyrat Begmyradov was released from the temporary duties of the Prosecutor General of Turkmenistan.
