President Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated the people of Turkmenistan on the 77th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War.
“I cordially congratulate you on the 77th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945! Victory Day is a holiday that reminds humanity of the need to live in peace, friendship, solidarity, nurturing high feelings of patriotism and humanism in generations,” the head of state said in a congratulatory address.
The Turkmen leader noted that 1941-1945 were the most tragic years in the history of mankind. According to him, for the sake of a peaceful and happy life for future generations, courageous compatriots showed incredible courage and fearlessness on the battlefields, thereby setting a high example of selfless service to the Fatherland.
“And therefore, the suffering and torment of the harsh war years, the damage they caused, the heroic pages of the history of this period will never be forgotten! The heroes who set an example of courage and courage in the unprecedented battles of 1941-1945 will live forever in our hearts and will be honored with eternal glory and honor!” - the President of Turkmenistan emphasized in his address.
