The President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent his condolences to the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Arif Alva and the Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif for the terrorist attack on the mosque in Peshawar, which resulted in many casualties and injuries.

"Turkmenistan firmly condemns any manifestations of terrorism and extremism and fully supports the efforts of the international community in fighting and eliminating this threat," the letter of the Turkmen leader states.

On this difficult occasion, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed his heartfelt condolences to the relatives and friends of the victims on behalf of the people and the Government of Turkmenistan, as well as on his own behalf, and expressed his prayers for the speedy recovery of the victims.
