On the Day of Knowledge and Student Youth, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a general lesson in the history of the country at the congress center of Ashgabat. Students of educational institutions of the capital of Turkmenistan attended the lecture from the President of the country.

The head of state told the students about the ancient history of the Turkmen people, the main stages of the formation of the Turkmen state in modern history, as well as about the peculiarities of the foreign, socio-economic and cultural policy of modern Turkmenistan. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov wished young people to strive for knowledge, obtaining quality education in order to subsequently bring maximum benefit to their people and homeland.

At the end of his speech, the President wished the participants of the meeting good health, long years of happy life and great success in their studies.
