President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held talks with the heads of a number of foreign companies who arrived in Ashgabat to participate in the celebrations in honor of the 31st anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence.
Thus, the head of state met with the executive director of the Omani-Canadian oil and gas company Buried Hill Energy Peter Kallas. The businessman congratulated the Turkmen leader on the Independence Day of the country, wishing prosperity to the Turkmen people of the country. During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for cooperation in the field of exploration and development of oil and gas fields in Turkmenistan.
The head of state also met with Markwart von Pentz, head of the department of agriculture and landscaping equipment of the American company John Deere. The businessman congratulated the President of Turkmenistan on the 31st anniversary of the country’s independence. During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of expanding bilateral cooperation. Particular attention was paid to the supply of modern agricultural machinery, taking into account the soil and climatic conditions of Turkmenistan.
