The President of Turkmenistan took part in a large-scale landscaping campaign

Today in Turkmenistan, with the participation of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, a large-scale planting campaign was launched as part of the implementation of the National Forest Program.

Mass actions for planting trees have become not only a good tradition, but also a symbol of nationwide support for the environmental initiatives of our country, an example of the large-scale and consistent activities that are launched in the Fatherland as a real contribution to the common good cause in the name of preserving natural resources and sustainable development on the planet.

Also, today the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan, Honorary Elder of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov took part in a nationwide planting campaign organized in the new, modern administrative centre of Ahal velayat.

Our Motherland is turning into a land of generous gardens, shady parks and dense forests, which are a symbol of the development and renewal of the country. Labour plays an extremely important role in the upbringing of the younger generation, and such socially useful activities as joint planting of green spaces contribute to the improvement of the ecological culture of society, and hence the preservation of the environment, which ultimately leads to an increase in human life expectancy.
