President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov during his trip to the Dashoguz velayat (region) took part in the opening ceremony of a multidisciplinary and oncological hospital.
New healthcare facilities in the northern region of the country for 450 and 150 beds, respectively, are equipped with modern equipment from the world's leading manufacturers of medical equipment. In total, more than 1,300 health workers will work in the new hospitals.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the clinics, the head of state noted that Turkmenistan pays great attention to the protection and promotion of human health, promotion of a healthy lifestyle, prevention and timely treatment of diseases. He expressed his conviction that the modern hospitals that are being opened in Dashoguz will serve people for many years, will become the leading centers in the region in the field of treating diseases and increasing people's life expectancy.
Then Serdar Berdimuhamedov got acquainted with the technical equipment of medical institutions and the conditions created here for the treatment of patients and the work of doctors. Congratulating the participants of the ceremony on the opening of modern hospitals in the administrative center of the Dashoguz velayat, the head of Turkmenistan made an entry in the Book of Honored Guests in memory of the solemn event. Also, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov handed over the keys to specialized vehicles to the hospital staff.
On the same day, two multi-apartment residential buildings for healthcare workers were put into operation in the Dashoguz velayat.
