The President of Turkmenistan visited the Ashgabat orphanage

On the eve of International Children's Day, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov visited Ashgabat's "Palace of the Prosperous" (orphanage), built in the southern part of the capital, in the picturesque foothills of the Kopetdag.

The pupils of the palace greeted the head of state and members of the government with songs and dances. Appreciating the talents of young artists, Serdar Berdimuhamedov visited the library and museum complex of the institution, where the children have at their disposal numerous book editions, and the museum displays various materials telling about the history of the orphanage and its work.

Then the head of state talked with the pupils of the palace. He was interested in how the guys relax, how they study, what plans they have for the future and what profession they want to choose in life. Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated the students on International Children's Day and the successful completion of the school year. Also, on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan, the pupils of the orphanage were presented with gifts. At the request of the children, the head of state took a picture with them as a keepsake, after which he got acquainted with the living conditions created here.
