The President orders abolishing redundant departments in the fuel and energy complex

At the Cabinet session held on 5 July President Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov addressed the efficiency of the fuel and energy complex operations. The head of state ordered abolishing redundant departments in the fuel and energy complex management, streamline reciprocal payments between branch departments and agencies, and analyze which enterprise should be transformed to a joint stock company and which might be handed over to the supervision of entrepreneurs.

Moreover, taking into account a complicated situation in the oil sector of the global economy, Deputy Prime Minister overseeing fuel and energy complex Myratgeldi Meredov was charged with the task of organizing the proper performance of his subordinate agency until the end of the year, the state information agency TDHreported.

Let us recall that in late January Berdymukhammedov instructed that the managerial system in the fuel and energy complex be fundamentally reformed according to a wide use of contemporary international standards.
