The Presidents of Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan have a telephone conversation

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov had a telephone conversation.

Having cordially congratulated each other on coming New Year, the leaders of two countries expressed the satisfaction with high level of relations, growing activity of Turkmen � Kyrgyz dialog, having confirmed mutual intent for consolidation of fruitful partnership.

In this regard, it was highlighted that regular contacts on high and government level serve as efficient mechanism of cooperation, to the expansion of such cooperation taking into account priority national regional objectives and potential of both countries.

Having noted the role of Interstate Turkmen � Kyrgyz Commission for trade, economic, scientific, technical and humanitarian cooperation, the sides made special mention of the importance of the meetings supporting the establishment and enhancement of the contacts including between business circles, which mainly outline the diversification of mutual trade turnover.

Continuing the conversation, having highlighted the importance of humanitarian part of the partnership, the Heads of the States spoke for the intensification of fruitful relations in this sphere, which is provided with centuries-old spiritual and cultural relations of Turkmen and Kyrgyz people.

During telephone conversation, the sides have also exchanged the opinions on current issues of regional and international problems presenting mutual interest. The commitment of the sides to constructive cooperation under competent organizations, especially under the UN and CIS, has been confirmed.

At the end of the conversation, Presidents Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Sooronbay Jeenbekov have stated that Turkmen � Kyrgyz relations based on the transparency and understanding have entered new level of development, having wished each other health and success and prosperity and wealth to fraternal people of two countries.
