The Vozrozhdenie construction company from St. Petersburg will complete the construction of a monument to the Turkmen poet Magtymguly Fragi in Ashgabat at its own expense and create a park complex around it. The corresponding resolution was signed by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov at a government meeting.

The document allows the Ashgabat City Hall to conclude a contract on a gratuitous basis with the Russian JSC Production Association Vozrozhdenie for the modernization of the new monument to Magtymguly Fragi in the Turkmen capital and the improvement of the surrounding area at the expense of this JSC.

The document prescribes to start construction work in September 2022 and complete it in May 2024. Turkmenistan plans to hold festive celebrations in 2024 in honor of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the classic of Turkmen and world poetry Magtymguly Fragi.
