On January 26, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper published an announcement on the extension of an international tender for the design, construction, commissioning and commissioning of a hydrogen production unit at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries (TCOR).

The fact that Turkmenistan intends to start developing the production of hydrogen fuel was announced during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on January 21.

The transition to hydrogen energy is due to the fact that in the future the demand for traditional hydrocarbons will decrease due to the increasing environmental requirements for energy carriers.
