The Turkmen President is outraged that Research Institutes employ staff with secondary education diplomas

In the course of the Cabinet session held on 12 October, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov said that the development of nations and well-being of residents is primarily affected by the state of science.

In the course of inspections carried out in some research institutes many shortfalls have been identified and in fact no positive results are recorded. Only two thirds of job vacancies are filled. Many employees of the research institutes hold no post graduate degrees and finished secondary vocational educational establishments. What accomplishments can we expect from them?, the head of the state resented.

The President authorized Purli Agamyradov, Deputy Prime Minister overseeing science and education, to establish a special commission and inspect all research institutes.
