The results of the I Open International Internet Olympiad in Ecology were summed up at the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Nyyazov.
A great intellectual competition brought together students from 24 higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan. As well as their peers representing universities in Russia, China, Austria, France, Germany, Hungary, Indonesia, Malaysia, Romania, Belarus, Turkey, the USA, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine.
The knowledge of the participants was evaluated by an international jury team, which determined the winners and prize-winners in the field of environmental competencies.
The finalists included representatives of the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Nyyazov A. Gutyyev and N. Guvanjov, a student of the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly A. Shamyradov.
Also, students of the Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan named after Oguzhan L. Jangulyyeva and S. Serdarov performed well at the Ecological Olympiad. One of the leading positions was occupied by the representative of the Institute of Engineering and Transport Communications of Turkmenistan R. Orazgeldiyev.
Five students from two Russian universities: Perm National Research Polytechnic University and Astrakhan State University named after V.N. Tatishev became the first-place winners.
In addition, representatives of the Belarusian State Agricultural Academy, Tenaga National University (Malaysia) distinguished themselves with their knowledge in the field of ecology. Students of two public universities in Hungary - Debrecen and Pecs. The number of leaders was also replenished by students of the Usak State University of Turkey.
All winners were awarded special diplomas of three degrees of distinction.
