There was a major accident on August 6 this year at 19:30 on the highway "Dushanbe - Kulyab - Khorog" in the city of Kulyab. Due to the failure of the brake system, a truck of the Dulon model rammed several cars and crashed into a residential building. As a result of the accident, more than 13 people were killed and more than 20 were injured. The exact number is being specified. On the instructions of the President of the Republic of Tajikstan E. Rahmon, the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Minister of Health, the head of the Khatlon region and other officials left for the scene. According to the preliminary data of the Ministry, there are no citizens of Kyrgyzstan among the dead and injured, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
