There is need to make changes to master plans of two cities

The State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture (SCUPA) intends to make changes to the master plans of the cities of Sumgayit and Tovuz. In so doing, the agency does not report on the reasons to revise the main urban planning documents of these cities drafted 4-5 years ago. The SCUPA announced an open tender on the eve of the selection of a design organization for these works. One of the conditions for participation in them is the presence in the portfolio of potential applicants of at least one approved master plan over the last 10 years. Recall that the general plan for the development of the city of Tovuz until 2036 was developed by the private company "Integris" and approved by the Cabinet of Ministers https://e-qanun.az/framework/41817 in April 2019, and the general plan for the development of the city of Sumgayit until 2030 (the state design institute "Azergosproekt" under the State Agency for Safety Control in Construction) https://e-qanun.az/framework/38461 in April 2018.
