Top Office on Emergency Mode Ahead of Public Rally

The presidential office of Cheong Wa Dae will run on emergency mode on Saturday to keep tabs on the third public candlelight rally calling for President Park's resignation.

Anticipated to be the largest in size since the 2000s, the rally will see the attendance of all leaders and presidential hopefuls of the entire opposition camp, including former Democratic Party chief Moon Jae-in and former People's Party chairman Ahn Cheol-soo.

The presidential office held a staff meeting in the morning with senior secretaries who discussed response measures.
