The technical park of the Turkmenawtoulaglary agency (Turkmenavtotransport) was replenished with 200 units of KAMAZ 6520 trucks and 70 units of Toyota Corolla cars.
Cars arrived on the eve of the celebration of the 28th anniversary of the independence of Turkmenistan, the state news agency TDH reports . Kamaz will be involved in construction projects and distributed among enterprises under the agency, of which 40 will be used in Ashgabat, 50 in Akhal, 20 in Balkan, 25 in Dashoguz, 35 in Lebap and 30 in Mary regions.
The supply of cars is aimed at meeting the needs of the population in passenger transportation, including taxis.
Recall that a shortage of taxis arose in Turkmenistan, when in April the authorities banned the work of private drivers. There is an official taxi in Ashgabat , but the cost of the trip is determined by a taximeter and is usually higher than that of private traders.
