Turkey persuades Turkmenistan to allow Turkish citizens in the country to get vaccinated against COVID-19

After repeated requests from the Turkish Embassy in Ashgabat, the Turkmen authorities allowed Turkish citizens in Turkmenistan to be vaccinated against COVID-19. This was reported on the website of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey.

Turkish citizens living in Ashgabat are ordered to apply to polyclinic 15 from 13:00 to 17:00.

The clinic says that they will vaccinate 16 people per hour and ask visitors not to gather in long queues. In this regard, the embassy asks its citizens to contact the clinic in advance in order to set a date for vaccination.

Vaccination sites in other regions of Turkmenistan have not yet been determined. The embassy is awaiting additional information from the Turkmen side.
