"Azerbaijan and Türkiye together extended a hand of peace to Armenia," Turkish Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar said during a briefing on the results of the "Anatolian Eagle 2023" training, APA's Istanbul correspondent reports citing Demirören News Agency.

"We are still waiting for this hand of peace to be accepted. We want peace," Akar added.

He noted that peace in the region is for everyone's benefit.

"We are trying to explain this. We say to Armenia be yourself, don't act on suggestions from our side. We think that if you act according to the conditions and geography of the region, it will be more beneficial for the region and yourself," he said.
