Turkish diplomat dies in Ashgabat. Bouygues to transport the body and the company employees to Turkey

The religious affairs counselor of Turkey’s Embassy in Turkmenistan Kemal Uçkun died in the night of 8 July, 2020 in the Ashgabat cardiovascular diseases hospital, the news outlet Turkmen news reports.

Uçkun was admitted to hospital on 27 June with a high temperature, cough and labored breathing. He was diagnosed with “pneumonia”.

It is reported that the diplomat’s body will be transported to Turkey by a charter flight arranged by the French construction company “Bouygues” which intends to evacuate 150 employees and other expatriates out of Turkmenistan.
