Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has held a phone conversation with Swedish Foreign Minister Tobias Billström, the Turkish Foreign Ministry told APA's Istanbul correspondent.
During the conversation, the Turkish minister emphasized the importance of taking concrete steps for Sweden's NATO membership.
The ministers agreed to meet again after the inter-departmental meeting to be held within the framework of the Permanent Joint Mechanism.
