The key issues of the development of bilateral cooperation were discussed online by Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and Federal Minister for European and Foreign Affairs of Austria Alexander Schallenberg.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the state and prospects for the development of the Turkmen-Austrian partnership in the economy and culture. In this regard, the activities of the Turkmen-Austrian joint commission, as well as close contacts between business circles, were especially noted.

Promising areas of partnership were the industrial sector, renewable energy, transport, technology and other industries. Discussing the development of cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian sphere, the parties highlighted the work of the Turkmen-Austrian Society in strengthening bilateral contacts.
