Turkmen-Estonian political consultations were held at the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan. During the meeting, the parties discussed the state of the juridical base of relations between the two states. In this regard, it was noted the need to intensify bilateral cooperation and discussed the possibility of developing a program of cooperation between the foreign ministries of the two countries. The parties also noted the importance of intensifying contacts at the highest state level, which gives a powerful impetus to the expansion of bilateral relations.
At the meeting, the Turkmen side proposed to consider the possibility of preparing a new draft agreement on trade and economic cooperation. In turn, the Estonian side made proposals for cooperation in the field of agriculture, e-government, digitalization of the economy.
In conclusion, the Turkmen side invited the Estonian delegation to the first Caspian Economic Forum, which will be held in August this year in the Avaza tourist zone on the Turkmen coast of the Caspian Sea.
