In Bucharest, opened an Turkmen exhibition of paintings and decorative and applied arts. The event was organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Bucharest in conjunction with the Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group Romania-Turkmenistan.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Romania Annamammet Annaev and Chairman of the Romania-Turkmenistan Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group Istvan-Janos Antal emphasized that the exhibition is intended to contribute to the expansion of humanitarian cooperation between the two friendly countries.
The exhibition exposition tells about the historical and cultural heritage of the Turkmen people and the present day of Turkmenistan. Photographic works allow you to take a visual tour of the archaeological and natural monuments of Turkmenistan, get acquainted with the sights of Ashgabat and a panorama of modern life in the country.
The collection of works of arts and crafts consisted of carpet products, samples of traditional clothing, hand embroidery, jewelry and national musical instruments. The exhibition also introduces the canvases of Turkmen artists and publishing products of the country, where the works of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov are presented.
Within the framework of the exhibition, acquaintance with the gastronomic traditions of the Turkmen people and tasting of dishes of the Turkmen and Romanian cuisine took place.
