The Turkmen cargo airliner Il-76 delivered humanitarian cargo for flood-affected residents of Pakistan to the airport in Karachi.

In accordance with the order of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, medicines and medical supplies, as well as food and other essential goods as humanitarian aid, were transferred to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

The ceremony of receiving humanitarian aid from Turkmenistan at Karachi airport was attended by officials from Sindh province, representatives of the Pakistani Foreign Ministry and journalists. Speakers at the ceremony expressed their gratitude to the leadership and people of Turkmenistan for the humanitarian assistance for the flood-affected population of the country.
