The foreign ministers of Turkmenistan and Mongolia, Rashid Meredov and Batzetszeg Batmunkh, discussed the development of relations between their countries during a meeting in Ashgabat today, Trend reports via the Turkmen Foreign Ministry. The minister arrived in the Turkmen capital as part of the first state visit of Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh. During the conversation, the ministers emphasized the significance of this visit for further strengthening Turkmen-Mongolian relations in various areas, including political-diplomatic, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres. Additionally, the parties discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the foreign ministries of both countries, highlighting the importance of mutual initiatives for the development of collaboration. To note, Khurelsukh arrived in Ashgabat for a working visit on October 11, during which he participated in the international forum "Interconnection of Times and Civilizations - the Foundation of Peace and Development".
