Turkmen president dismisses vicepremier for industry for corruption in ministries under his control

At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov dismissed the vicepremier in charge of the industry, Kerim Durdymyradov .

According to the state news agency TDH , the head of state accused Durdymyradov of having revealed corruption, misappropriation of state property and registrations in the departments under his jurisdiction.

In particular, the Minister of Textile Industry Nepes Gailiyev , who was dismissed three days ago, was found guilty of bribery.

In addition, the president was displeased that the minister did not cope with the financial issues of the Garlyk mining and processing plant .
