Turkmen specialists take a course on digitalization of public administration

A 10-day training course on network administration in the public sector for specialists in the field of information technology in Turkmenistan has started. The course is organized by the Academy of Civil Service under the President of Turkmenistan in cooperation with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

 

During it, participants will get acquainted with the features of connecting to the Internet Protocol (IP), the basics of cybersecurity, the use of information technology in automating public administration processes.

 

The use of information technologies in public administration ensures a more efficient use of funds and the fulfillment of duties, increasing the transparency of their activities, and saving time.

 

The training course will end with the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) international online exam, after which Turkmen specialists will receive the first international IT certification.

 

The transition to a digital economy is one of the priorities for the sustainable development of Turkmenistan. In this regard, this course will help meet the need for qualified specialists to develop and maintain digital networks in government institutions in the country.
