The Turkmen-Uzbek inter-MFA consultations were held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with the participation of those who arrived in Ashgabat. Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov and Deputy Secretary of the Security Council, Special Representative of the President of Uzbekistan for Foreign Policy Abdulaziz Kamilov.
During the meeting, a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian fields were discussed.
Then the award ceremony took place. Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov and Deputy Secretary of the Security Council, Special Representative of the President of Uzbekistan for Foreign Policy Abdulaziz Kamilov with the Order of Turkmenistan "Galkynysh" ("Revival"). According to the decrees of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, they were awarded this high award for great merits in the development of interstate economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation, a huge personal contribution to strengthening the relations of friendship, brotherhood and good neighborliness between the two countries.
Abdulaziz Kamilov also presented the Uzbek Order "Dustlik" ("Friendship") to the Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov. The head of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry was awarded this award by decree of the President of Uzbekistan for his great personal contribution to the development and strengthening of friendship and good neighborliness, strategic partnership and multifaceted cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.
