For ten months of this year, Kyrgyzstan imported 2.6 billion kWh of electricity, of which 2.02 billion kWh or 77.7% was supplied by Turkmenistan. This is reported by the publication "Akchabar".
The total cost of supplies is estimated at 5,010,877,700 soms or $56,737,300, that is, on average, 1 kWh cost $0.028.
Earlier it was reported that in 2021 the cost of 1 kWh was 2.05 Kyrgyz soms or $0.02422. Turkmenistan received $0.02 per kWh, and the remaining $0.00422 was payment to Uzbekistan for transit.
Thus, if the specified data is correct, it turns out that the cost of purchasing Turkmen electricity increased by $0.004.
