He was instructed to study new methods of managing the production of petroleum products at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries (TKNPZ), to organize the production of new types of petrochemical products and expand the routes of their entry to international markets.

• In April it became known that TKNPZ plans to produce jet fuel of the Jet A-1 brand - the European analogue of the TS-1 fuel produced by the enterprise. The company announced a corresponding tender on the 5th.

• On September 3, it was reported that the TKNPZ had taken measures to produce aviation gasoline imported for the An-2 aircraft ( popularly known as “corn workers” - ed. ).
