Turkmenistan held by-election to parliament

In Turkmenistan, elections were held for three deputies of the Mejlis (parliament) in separate electoral districts instead of those who left.

To vote in the constituencies number 54 of the Dashoguz velayat (region), number 106 and number 109 of the Mary velayat, 80 thousand 230 voters were registered.

According to the Central Election Commission for the conduct of elections and referenda in Turkmenistan, by the time of closing of polling stations, that is, by 19 o'clock, 91.12 percent of voters took part in the elections of deputies of the Mejlis. According to information provided by the Central Election Commission, the elections were declared valid. The election results will be announced soon.
