Turkmenistan is preparing a series of peace-building initiatives aimed at improving trust in interstate relations at the UN. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov said this at the 4th consultative meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia held in Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyz Republic.

"Regarding the crisis in interstate relations, the crisis in international politics and the economy, the issue of cultural dialogue is of global importance," the Turkmen leader said.

The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan noted that the Central Asian countries should set an example of mutual respect, equality, and trust in mutual cooperation and actively promote these ideas in the international arena.

"Currently, Turkmenistan is preparing initiatives to declare 2023 as "Dialogue is the guarantee of peace" at the international level and to develop the Resolution of the General Assembly entitled "Zone of peace and trust in Central Asia", the Turkmen leader said. expressed confidence that these positive proposals will be supported by all Central Asian countries.

According to the President, it is advisable to activate diplomatic relations within the region and with other countries in order to support international efforts in eliminating conflicts, creating favorable conditions for their resolution through dialogue.

In this regard, the countries of the region should propose their views on the use of tools of preventive diplomacy in the region, especially through the work of the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia, the Turkmen leader emphasized.

"In this regard, I propose to hold consultations at the level of the leaders of the regional center of the foreign ministries of the Central Asian states in the fall of this year," said the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
