On January 11, an extraordinary online meeting of representatives of the member countries of the Organization of Turkic States (formerly the Turkic Council) was held, dedicated to the events in Kazakhstan. This was reported on the website of the organization.

The Kazakh Foreign Ministry writes that the participants in the meeting confirmed their readiness to help the government of Kazakhstan overcome the crisis and support the anti-terrorist operations of the Kazakh government against "terrorists, radicals, extremists and criminals seeking to violate the constitutional order."
