In Turkmenistan, with the participation of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, a nationwide land gardening (Saturday) took place.
The head of state took part in the mass planting of trees in the Novruz Valley in the Akhal velayat (region). Together with the president, the country's leadership corps, representatives of diplomatic institutions accredited in Turkmenistan, public organizations, students and journalists participated in the planting campaign.
Subbotnik participants planted young mulberry trees (mulberry) in the foothills of the Kopetdag, starting a mass planting campaign across the country.
The performances of Turkmen artists - musicians, singers, folklore groups became the jewel of Evara. In the whole country more than 460 thousand trees were planted on this day. Work was also carried out on the care of trees that were planted earlier.
