The State Service of Turkmenistan for Combating Economic Crimes is united with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country. The corresponding decree at an expanded meeting of the State Security Council of Turkmenistan was signed by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. At the meeting it was noted that this measure was taken in order to strengthen the fight against economic crimes and improve the activities of law enforcement agencies.
By signing the document, the head of state instructed the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to take appropriate measures to properly organize the activities of the new structural unit.
