Turkmenistan to open digital economy training center

With the assistance of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and in accordance with the Concept for the Development of the Digital Economy in Turkmenistan, a Training Center for the Digital Economy will be created in Turkmenistan for 2019-2025, the state information agency TDH reports .

The Center will train in such areas as Turnover of digital documentation, Servicing the population through the single window system, Information analysis , Sectoral electronic turnover , Digital agriculture . At the first stage, digital systems are supposed to be used on the territory of Akhal velayat, then to introduce them throughout the country.

Vice Prime Minister Chary Gylydzhov reported to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov that the institution would be equipped with equipment acquired through SPPT.

The concept of developing a digital economy was approved by the president in the fall of 2018. It is planned to implement in three stages: 1st - in 2019, 2nd - in 2020-2023. and the third - in the years 2024-2025.
