The delegation of Turkmenistan headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Vepa Khadzhiev took part in the regular meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the CIS, held in Dushanbe.
During the meeting, an exchange of views took place on topical issues on the international agenda and interaction in the Commonwealth format. The priorities of multilateral partnership in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian fields for the near future were determined.
The meeting also considered the international project "Youth Capital of the CIS", a list of promising scientific projects of the CIS member states, as well as issues of awarding the diploma of the CIS.
Voicing the priorities of the Turkmen side, Vepa Khadzhiev emphasized the significant potential for cooperation within the Commonwealth. The head of the Turkmen delegation highlighted such promising areas of cooperation as countering modern challenges, in particular, the consolidation of efforts in ensuring biological and cyber security.
