In Turkmenistan, elections will be held for three deputies of the Mejlis (parliament) instead of retired. On this day, precinct election commissions will work from 7 to 19 hours.
2-3 candidates from the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan, the Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Agrarian Party, as well as groups of citizens were nominated for one seat in all districts.
The election campaign is monitored by a group of national observers. As they note, all the stages of the election campaign were conducted in accordance with the requirements of national legislation and generally accepted norms of international law.
