The state information agency TDH reports that Turkmenistan will join Public Key Directory (PKD) of the International Civil Aviation Organization.
The decision was made with a view of safeguarding the rights of citizens when entering or exiting Turkmenistan by the state, simplifying the border control procedure for holders of biometrical passports at border check points open for international air service and ensuring the authenticity of these passports.
