A new criminal incident with Turkmen migrants involved has occurred in Istanbul. A correspondent of Chronicles of Turkmenistan reports that as a result of the fight with his fellow citizens a young man got admitted into the emergency department of a hospital.
Six natives of KAlytendag etrap located in Lebap velayat, who had been renting an apartment in the neighbourhood of Jihangir, the Awjylar district, organized a party in the night of 12 July. Under the influence, young people started an argument, as a result of which the Turkmen citizens threw one of their companions from the balcony on the third floor.
At the moment a young man, born in 1979, is in critical condition in the state hospital Capa in Istanbul. Five Turkmenistan's nationals were detained to clarify the details of the incident.
According to an officer from the Awjylar district police station, the investigation is underway. The injured and the detainees hold relevant visas and have a legal status in Turkey. It remains unknown whether the court hearing will be held or whether the detainees will be deported back to their home country.
A healthcare practitioner from the clinic the injured got admitted to reports that the patient's condition can be assessed as grave as he sustained multiple fractures and internal injuries.
If his condition is stable for 4 to 5 days, there is a chance that he will survive but will remain disabled, the doctor said.
The Turkish media outlets have not reported about the incident yet. At the same time, on 9 July the news agency Anadoly habar gullugy reported about the death of a Turkmenistan's nationals who had been kept in the intensive care unit of the Ataturk hospital for eight months. It is known that the 25 year old Turkmen migrant was stabbed with a knife in the neighbourhood of Kynyk, the district of Kas in Antalya.
Let us recall that in mid June Chronicles of Turkmenistan reported that the party with participation of Turkmen migrant workers in Turkey ended up in a fight, when the police got summoned and the perpetrators were deported back to their home country.
