UNDP delivered 281 mobile UV lamps for air disinfection to Turkmenistan.
They are intended for use in medical institutions and the sanitary and epidemiological service of the country, which are subject to increased sanitary and hygienic requirements, Turkmenistan: Golden Age reported on March 21.
“Such ultraviolet installations contribute to the prevention of viral infections that are transmitted through the air,” the publication emphasizes.
On its Twitter, the organization announced that the supply is being financed by the Global Fund jointly with the government of Turkmenistan.
