Washington's top envoy on the issue of North Korea's nuclear weapons says the United States is actively cooperating with concerned countries on a new round of sanctions against Pyongyang.
U.S. envoy Joseph Yun says he hopes the UN Security Council, including fellow permanent member China, will come to an agreement soon.
Yun made his comments after meeting with his South Korean counterpart Kim Hong-kyun in Seoul Tuesday. Yun held similar talks with his Chinese counterpart Wu Dawei in Beijing Monday.
