Let me express sincere and deep gratitude for warm welcome and hospitality, rendered to the delegation of Uzbekistan during government visit to friendly Turkmenistan of March 6 � 7 of this year.
The visit was historical event in relation between our countries and people by its results and achieved agreements.
Meetings and talks, held in traditionally open and trustful atmosphere, allowed to share the visions on broad range of issues of bilateral relations and international agenda.
Large package of documents, adopted during the visit, confirmed the endeavour to new dynamics and high level of Uzbek � Turkmen relations.
In this regard, I would like to state with delight the signing of the Agreement on strategic partnership, which took international relations to quality new level, which corresponds with potential and actual needs of modern development of cooperation between our countries.
I remember with special warmth the opening ceremony of new railway and automobile bridges across Amudarya River, which were built owing to your personal initiatives and insistent efforts and can be named as the bridges of friendship and strong and unbreakable good neighbourhood.
I am convinced that this modern and unique facilities would not only serve for the sake of people of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan but also would give strong impulse to progress and successful integration of the region into the processes of global economic development.
Outstanding organization of joint concert of arts masters and cultural workers of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan in Turkmenabat confirmed the proximity of spiritual values, languages, customs and traditions of Uzbek and Turkmen people. I am confident that this spectacular event will take deserving position in the treasury of bright momentous events in the history of cultural and humanitarian relations of our countries and will promote their further consoldation.
I would like to express again, Dear Gurbanguly Myalikguliyevich, my deep gratitude for the respect to the memory of the first President of the Republic of Uzbekistan I. A. Karimov. Your kind decision, coming from the depth of the heart, on establishment of the monument to I. A. Karimov will be encrypted in gold letters into the chronicles of neighbouring and friendly relations between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.
We highly appreciate your personal efforts for organization of the visit of our delegation to Turkmenistan on such high level as well as for priceless contribution into consolidation of Uzbek and Turkmen relations, – the message of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev highlights.
