On July 19, the construction of the university of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan began in Ashgabat, according to the newspaper "Neutral Turkmenistan" dated July 20.
The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by Deputy Prime Minister for Trade Batyr Atdaev and Chairman of the UIET Dovran Khudaiberdiev .
The note says that the university will consist of four academic buildings and two student dormitories (each designed for 300 seats), as well as a library, a canteen, indoor and outdoor sports complex. However, the UIET website says that the educational institution will consist of four educational buildings, two of which are dormitories.
The university will be built by the individual enterprise "Nur bina gurlusyk". It is planned that in 2025 the educational institution will accept the first students.
On April 12, when the UIET was 14 years old, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a Resolution instructing the Central Bank to provide a loan to Rysgal Bank for lending to the UIET in order to finance the construction of the university.
The document ordered to start construction work in April this year and hand over the facility in full readiness for operation in September 2025.
The university will be located at the address: Gyorogly street, house 183.
