World Stock Markets Show Mixed Trends Amid Varied Performance Across Regions

New York: The main index indicators of world stock markets reflected a mixed performance as trading sessions concluded on June 10. In the U.S. stock markets, notable gains were recorded across major indices. The Dow Jones index saw an increase of 0.25%, closing at 42,866.87 points, while the S and P 500 index rose by 0.55% to reach 6,038.81 points. The Nasdaq index reported a gain of 0.63%, finishing at 19,714.99 points. According to Azeri-Press News Agency, European stock markets exhibited varied results on the same day. The FTSE 100 index in the United Kingdom experienced a rise of 0.24%, ending at 8,853.08 points. In France, the CAC-40 index increased by 0.17% to 7,804.33 points. However, Germany's DAX index showed a decrease, falling by 0.77% to settle at 23,987.56 points. In the global markets, currency exchange trends were noted as the euro's rate against the dollar experienced a slight decrease of 0.08%, bringing the exchange rate to USD 1.1416.
