Azerbaijani police discover numerous weapons and ammunition in liberated territories

Measures are being continued by MIA employees to turn the regions freed from occupation into safe areas. APA reports that the Ministry of Internal Affairs has released information about this. It was noted that after the Patriotic War and anti-terrorist operations, the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs professionally perform the assigned tasks in order to accelerate the Great Return process and ensure security. The process of detecting and neutralizing war remnants and sources of danger continues without interruption. The task of cleaning the region from weapons and explosives is one of the main activities of the employees of the internal affairs bodies involved in the service. On September 7-13, police officers found and seized 5 automatic weapons, 4 pistols, 6 rifles, 13 grenades, 16 lighters, 5 bayonets, 20 cartridge combs, 679 cartridges of various calibers and other ammunition from Khankendi city, 1 grenade, 1 lighter, 196 cartridges of various calibers from Khojaly district, 1 grenade la uncher and 5 shells, 1 grenade launcher, 6 cartridge combs, 180 cartridges of various calibers from Tartar region, 51 shells, 243 grenades, 28780 cartridges of various calibers, 58 gunpowder cartridges, 62 lighters from the territory of Mughanli village of Khojavand region, 2 submachine guns, 5 shells, 55 cartridges of various calibers, 2 cartridge combs were found and taken from the territory of Papravend village of Aghdam region, 1 submachine gun, 1 cartridge comb and 30 cartridges of various calibers were found and taken from the territory of Garaagaci village of Gubadli district.
